Kenneth Hall is a Principal with Long View Equity Partners, the investment advisor and asset manager of the Company’s funds. Mr. Hall has primary responsibility for capital raising and strategic development. Mr. Hall previously served on the Board of Regents and as Senior Vice President of Development and Strategic Initiatives at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and nineteen years as CEO of Buckner International, a global faith-based organization serving orphans, needy families, and senior adults. While at Buckner he oversaw the organization’s reach into senior living communities across Texas and created the international outreach of the organization. Mr. Hall is a past board member of Baylor Healthcare and currently serves on the board of Covington Aircraft and Texas Bank & Trust. Mr. Hall is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Tyler and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dustin Johnson is the Company founder and Principal of Long View Equity Partners, the investment advisor and asset manager of the Company’s funds. Mr. Johnson is responsible for the overall strategy and leadership of the Company. A predecessor company to Long View was founded by Dustin as a family limited partnership for the purposes of investing in “value-add” or “opportunistic” commercial real estate. Mr. Johnson took under-performing or vacant properties with significant deferred maintenance and through rehabilitation and leasing was able to create and then harvest considerable value. Previously, Mr. Johnson served as Vice President of Texas Office Leasing where he led a team managing a portfolio of 32 different properties and 80 unique tenants. Prior to his real estate career Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. While there he was an instructor in the department of economics at Bishkek Humanitarian University. Mr. Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
Chip McCharen serves as Director of Accounting and Finance with Long View Equity Partners, the investment advisor and asset manager of the Company’s funds. Mr. McCharen oversees the Company’s fund accounting, financial reporting and investor relations. Prior to joining Long View Mr. McCharen served for over five years as a financial analyst/asset manager for Kennedy Wilson a publicly-traded real estate investment firm. While at Kennedy Wilson Mr. McCharen oversaw financial reporting for private partnerships and Kennedy Wilson Fund Management assets, including $518 million in committed equity to Funds I — IV and two double-bottom-line funds. Previously Mr. McCharen worked in investment banking for Merrill Lynch and as a tax consultant for Arthur Andersen. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and holds a BA and MPA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Pamala Rutkowski is the Director of Property Management with Long View Equity Partners, the investment advisor and asset manager of the Company’s funds. Ms. Rutkowski brings almost 20 years of property and asset management experience to Long View. Ms. Rutkowski leads property management of all of Long View’s fund assets. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Rutkowski served a private Austin-based company as owner representative for all commercial properties (approx. 300k SF of leasable space). While there she oversaw property accounting and asset management. Ms. Rutkowski is an alumnus of the University of Houston.
